Brazil and Ukraine are planning a joint venture project that would launch the Tsyklon 4 medium-class rocket from the Alcantara launch site for commercial GEO missions. The first launch of a Ukrainian Tsyklon 4 is planned for 2007.
The Tsyklon 4 will be able to carry a 5,500kg payload from Alcantara. It may carry a Chinese/Brazilian Earth observation satellite.Other info:
