The LKS Spaceplane was being developed in the late 1970's by the Chelomei OKB. It was a competitor to Russia's Buran Space Shuttle. It was going to be launched by a derivative of the Proton Rocket.
LKS spaceplane would have located forward of an expendable payload section. LKS standed for (“Light Space Ship”. Unfortunately it was not fully developed.

The Soviet Air Force in the late 1950s and 1960s funded several spaceplane programs such as the PKA (“Gliding Space Apparatus”), the M-48, the Raketoplan, Kosmoplan, Spiral, and the LKS (“Light Space Ship”). None of these ever made it into space.
