Solar System

Solar System

Solar System includes planets, moon, our sun, asteroids, comets, kuiper belt, oort cloud, asteroid belt, dwarf planets and other objects. There are 8 planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Pluto is a dwarf planet. Asteroid Belt lies between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Beyond Neptune's orbit lies the Kuiper belt and the Oort Cloud. Our Solar System is located in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. Closest star to Earth is our Sun. Humans have only visited our moon, however, in the future they may explore beyond Earth orbit and possibly to asteroids and Mars.
