This is the last newsletter for the year 2000.

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and to thank you all for joining the mailing list!

I thought I would mention some information about myself! I was born in Perth, West Australia. My parents originate from Northern Greece and I live in Dublin, Ireland and am 35 years old.

Other Pages which I updated and did not mention last time:

Planet Mars:
http://www.aerospaceguide.net/planetmars.html

Hermes Space Plane

http://www.aerospaceguide.net/hermes.html

X-30 Aerospaceplane
http://www.aerospaceguide.net/x-30.html

Anyway, time to go and I will see you all in the next newsletter in 2001.

From Vic Stathopoulos

Newsletter No. 6 " Women in Space "
Date:
Thursday 14th, December, 2000

This is the second last newsletter for the year 2000.

First of all I would like to say that all the sections now have the new look and easy navigation. I hope everybody likes the new look!

What's new?

I have added a page dedicated to all Space Women called "Women in Space" in the Space History Section. In response to a request for Animal in Space Links, I also added the links to the Space History section. In addition, I decided to add a history of the web site and I have a copy of the old Destination Mir Banner there!

http://www.aerospaceguide.net/spacehistory.html

In Space Miscellaneous, I added the Space Gallery, Space  Pictures, UFO Links, Space Cowboys, and updated Space Science

Tip: If you want to open more than 1 window at a time, hold shift and say click on check mail and the new window will open. You can Check Mail from the Home Page and from the sections.

Newsletter No. 5 " Breaking News - Lost Destination Mir Banner "
Date:
Saturday, 25th November, 2000

At the moment, I am editing Space Projects and I got an email from NBCi that I have to drop the Destination Mir Banner. It was the most relevant banner for Space Projects and Info and now I feel sad its gone!!! Sorry People. Lots of people really liked and so did I. Oh well-life goes on.

Even worse, I have heard that Mir might really be crashed to earth in the Pacific in February, 2000.

On a happier note, I have added some interesting links and some interesting content. Here are the direct links to the Pages:

http://www.aerospaceguide.net/proposallv.html
These include Kitten, Calico and Angora.

http://www.aerospaceguide.net/spacebusiness.html

New Space Business Links-some very interesting ones.

http://www.aerospaceguide.net/chinesespaceprogram.html
Chinese Space Program Links-even some in Chinese if you can read it!

Newsletter No. 4 " One Stop Space Links "
Date:
Thurs 23rd, November, 2000

In this newsletter, I would like to discuss the concept of one stop space links.

Questions to think about:
(1). Are you happy with the way all categories/sections/topics have external links in Space Projects and Info? Is that convenient? In addition, would you also like to have a Space Web Directory similar to Yahoo with descriptions?

(2). Is it easy to find Great Space Web Sites as the Internet grows? What search engines do you use to find sites? Do use local search engines? Word of Mouth?

(3). What do you do when you collect so many web site addresses? Add them to a diary? Place them in folders in your favourites menu in Explorer?

If anybody find any useful web sites, please email me so I can add them to the web.

Where have I added New Links? In Space Misc., I have added links to a few TV Shows, such as Lost In Space and Babylon5 and to the Star Wars Film. In the Propulsion section, you will find some interesting links on Exotic Propulsion. In the actual Space Links Page I have added an Astronomy Section and Space Clubs and space travel.

Newsletter No. 3 " Space Projects and Info's Home Page gets a Facelift "
Date:
Wednesday 8th, November, 2000

At long last after more than 3 months of trying various layouts and colours, Space Projects and Info has a nice home page. Mind you I still like the old one.

To compare pages:

New One:
http://www.aerospaceguide.net/index.html

Last Design:
http://www.aerospaceguide.net/space.html

Original Main Page
http://www.aerospaceguide.net/indexblue.html

The big question is what should I do with the background with the other pages??? Convert them to white???

I also added a ultra basic space shop and some new links throughout the site. More in the next newsletter.

I would love to hear suggestions or any comments with regards to the new main page and background colour for the sections and content.

Newsletter No. 2 " I thought Mir Space Station Crashed ? "
Date: Tues 24th, October, 2000

This morning I woke up by the radio alarm and I heard that Russia will abandon Mir in February, 2001. I got a bit of a shock, I thought it crashed! By the way, I live in Dublin, Ireland. Don't worry, if I hear any certain news I will newsletter all! I personally think Russia should support Mir for a few years more! It could be used for DESTINATION MIR TV SHOW (I added a banner to the Main Page and Mir Space Station Section), for the first space tourist, and even as a storarge and experimental station for ISS!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_986000/986445.stm

In the last few days I improved some of the links, added
JPL page, Ausroc 4, Spacelift, Soyuz Launch Vehicle, and lots more. Perhaps I should have left a mark "new or update" so users know what is going on.

Space Projects and Info Newsletter No. 1 " Welcome Officially to Space Projects and Info "
Date: Oct 19 2000

Welcome to the very first newsletter of the Space Projects and Info Web Site. Please note: the short-cut to Space Projects is:www.aerospaceguide.net

What is coming soon to the site?

1. I plan to add some interesting links like Boeing's Secert Aerospaceplane (http://www.desertsecrets.com/airplanes.html). You can already reach this page via Space Projects Aircraft Links

http://www.aerospaceguide.net/aircraftlinks.html.
Please note that on the Desert Secrets Web Site, you will also find Alternative
X-33 designs! Very Interesting!

2. Space Shop

3. Improve the Navigation Links. I am thinking of adding navigationl links at the top of all pages for ease of use. For example, Home-) Propulsion-) US_Engines-)
SSME

The big question is, will it work well? Will the navigation line conflict with the banner on the top of the pages?

I have added lots of different search engines throughout the Web Site. The purpose is to save the users scrambling about looking for a search engine! Also I have Free Email on the main page which might be useful to some people.

4. Add a Space related TV Shows, Movies, Cartoons Links Page!

If anybody has any suggestions or any ideas in how the site can improve, then click on
Contact Info to email us.

Thank You for joining the Newsletter.
