Doctor Who 2008 is series 4. It
features David Tennant as the tenth Doctor, Catherine Tate
reprises her role as Donna Noble will appear in all episodes of
the season, Freema Agyeman (Martha) will appear from episode 4 and
Billie Piper will return in one the episodes near the end of the

(Season 4) - Tenth Doctor
The 2008 Season consists of 13

1. Partners in Crime -

The first episode of the eagerly awaited new
series will witness Donna tracking down the Doctor during an alien
emergency in modern-day London. Who is the mysterious but powerful
business woman, Miss Foster and why does she have her own sonic
screwdriver?
In the last episode of season 3, a red-nailed
hand picked up the master's ring from the ash....and Miss Foster
is also red-nailed. Are they the same person? Is she a Time Lady?
Guest stars include Sarah
Lancashire as the evil Miss Foster, an 'enigmatic and powerful
businesswoman'.
2. The Fires of Pompeii - 12 April 2008

The Doctor and Donna travel to Pompeii and an alien invasion
causes Mount Vesuvius to erupt. The Doctor and Donna travel back
into ancient history. When they arrive in 79AD, however, they
discover psychic powers and beasts of stone running riot in the
streets of old Pompeii. The time-travellers face their greatest
challenge yet – can established history be changed or must the
Doctor let everyone die?
3. Planet of the Ood - 19 April 2008

The Doctor and Donna travel to the Ood Sphere, where danger awaits
them as the The Doctor discovers the awful truth. The Doctor
discovers what drove the Ood to become a servant race, a company
has been forcing Ood into slavery.
The Ood Sphere is the snowy home planet of the Ood. This
Donna's first visit to an alien world. The Ood previously
appeared in Series 2 two-parter, "The Impossible Planet" / "The
Satan Pit".
4. The Sontaran Stratagem (Part 1) - 26 April 2008

Will feature the return of Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones.
Martha is working for Unit.
Martha comes face to face with Donna Noble for the first time
as they unite against the Sontarans, one of The Doctor's oldest
enemies. The Sontarans first appeared on Doctor Who in 1973 when
they met Jon Pertwee's Doctor. Former Young Ones star Christopher
Ryan guest stars as General Staal, the Head of the Sontarans.
This episode marks the first television appearance of the
Sontarans in 23 years. Their last appearance was in The Two
Doctors, however, the last time they are referred to was in 2007s
the Sarah Jane Adventures.
5. The Poison Sky (Part 2) - 3 May 2008

This episode will be part 2 and features the Sontarans.
6. The Doctor's Daughter - 10 May 2008

Director: Alice Troughton
The Doctor, Martha and Donna are
mysteriously diverted to a colony planet on which humans are
fighting the fish-like Hath and the Doctor's DNA is used to create
a daughter - a soldier. The daughter is
named Jenny by Donna and appears to have the same genetic makeup
as the Doctor himself. Georgia Moffett, Peter Davison's
daughter plays the Doctor's daughter.
In early versions of this page, it was
speculated that some DNA was stolen and that someone had created
her. Perhaps in the future they may make a spin-off tv show called
Jenny or Doctor's Daughter.
7. The Unicorn and the Wasp -
17 May 2008

The Doctor and Donna Noble will meet Agatha Christie who is played by Fenella Woolgar in an episode set in the 1920s, where
she is supported by Felicity Kendal, who plays the part
of Lady Clemency Eddison.
8. Silence in the Library - 31
May 2008

Director: Alice Troughton
Based on the secrets of an old abandoned library. This story is
set in a library in space.
Alice Troughton is no relation to Second Doctor actor Patrick
Troughton.
9. Forest of the Dead - 31 May 2008
Writer:
Steven Moffat
Director: Euros Lyn
The conclusion to the story about the Doctor and Donna's visit to
an abandoned library. The Doctor and Donna encounter moving
shadows lurking in the dark, as well as the terrifying Nodes and
the Data Ghost.
As the shadows rise and march, the Doctor forges an alliance
with the mysterious River Song. But can anyone stop the Vashta
Nerada? While the Doctor discovers long-buried secrets and
revelations about his own future, the sinister Nodes declare that
Donna is doomed.
Who are the three kids with River Song at the end of the
episode? Are they the Dr's kids?
10. Midnight - 14 June 2008

The Doctor and Donna visit an alien leisure planet in the far
future, but soon events turn to the worst and everyone starts
killing each other.
Guest stars David Troughton as Professor Hobbs.
11. Turn Left - 21 June 2008

Director: Graeme Harper
This episode features the return of Rose Tyler.
Donna's entire world collapses, but there's no sign of the Doctor.
Instead, she finds help from a mysterious blonde woman – a
traveller from a parallel universe. But, as Donna and Rose Tyler
combine forces, are they too late to save the whole of creation
from the approaching darkness?
12. The Stolen Earth (Part 1) - 28
June 2008

Director: Graeme Harper
Earth's
greatest heroes assemble in a time of dire need. But can the
Doctor's secret army defeat the might of the new Dalek Empire?
With
battles on the streets and in the skies, the Doctor and Donna must
brave the Shadow Proclamation to find out the truth. However, a
fearsome old enemy waits in the shadows...
This is the
penultimate episode in this series. Prior to airing this
episode had various rumoured titles: War on Skaros, Stolen Planet,
Eye of Davros.
13. Journey's End (Part 2) - 5
July 2008
Writer: Russell T. Davies
Director: Graeme Harper
The entire universe is in danger as the Daleks
activate their masterplan. The Doctor is helpless, and even the
Tardis faces destruction. The only hope lies with the Doctor's
secret army of companions, but as they join forces to battle
Davros himself, the prophecy declares that one
of them will die.
This is the final episode of the season. It is speculated
that episode has something to do with the Medusa Cascade. We'll
have to wait and watch it folks. Speculation is Davros may return
and features the return of Jack Harkness.
Will Harriet Jones return and has she any connection with the
Daleks?
Things to think about!
Will Dalek Caan return? Will he rebuild the Cult of Skaro? Will
Dalek Caan the last Dalek in existence find Davros?
Will the Master return? Where is the Rani? Was Lucie Saxon from
series 3 Lucie Saxon?
